An evolution of the traditional gala fundraiser, House of Distinction is an innovative event series that raises money for charities and non-profits while showcasing the city’s most beautiful and unique homes. Get ready for an all-inclusive premium experience – no auction, no ask – just the ultimate night out benefitting a noteworthy cause.
Time: 6:45pm - 1:00am
The inaugural House of Distinction Edmonton event is in support of Stollery Women’s Network – a volunteer arm of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, made up of over 500 members, united in action with the foundation. All funds raised go towards the SWN’s Giving Comfort Campaign, which provides comfort items for patients and their families in the ER.
House of Distinction promises to change your perception of the traditional gala with an evening of fun and elegance – all in support of Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The night begins at Central Social Hall for a pre-event reception. Enjoy refreshments and meet your fellow House of Distinction attendees. Shuttle transportation will be provided from Central Social Hall to the secret event location at two times: 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM.
We encourage you to Uber, Tapp or taxi to Central Social Hall, though if you are planning on driving there is a parking lot available behind the building for a flat rate of $5 overnight until 10:00 AM Sunday. Please do not drink and drive.
Once you arrive at the secret event location, you’ll experience an evening like no other. Enjoy superb food and complimentary beverages, beautiful décor and engaging entertainment – all in one of Edmonton’s most beautiful and unique homes. This evening is all about your experience – we won’t ask you to open your wallets, listen to speeches or watch videos. Just come and enjoy, knowing that you’ve contributed to a most worthy cause.
When your feet hurt too much from dancing, hop aboard a shuttle to head back to Central Social Hall, or take your Uber / taxi home directly from the event location – your choice.
